OK....this is for those that are castrated or are far enough into is that you've noticed some changes.

What kind of changes have you noticed in your:

Mood swings

Ways of thinking

Views on life, sex, relationships

Any hot flashes?

Loss of control over emotions?

Thanks for any feedback you can give,

Rayne

Each person could experience none, some or all of the changes, and every one would have a different time period for the effects.

I have hot flashes and don't care for sex.One of the best things for me was getting rid of the sex drive and turning my attention and life over to Christ.I also have a love for people I never had before and may God bless all who ask for his blessings.

While not castrated, my testosterone is so low I must be nearly the same.

Aggressiveness and drive to accomplish and do things is gone.

Use to get very aggitated when things went wrong - not now.

No interest in sexual activity and not bothered by this at all.

Will wake up with erection now and then, but as far as I can tell that is bladder induced. Forced attempts at achieving ejaculation via masterbation not successful, not even erotic or sexually stimulating or arousing. Feel no need to attain sexual release; have no sexual frustration.

Calm and mild mannered to the point of being blah and boring.

Not much interests me anymore. Things I use to like to do, so what.

Main surprise is that my intense craving and desire to be castrated has subsided. I do think about this from time to time, but my now new firm and numb and non-functioning testicles are so odd and different that I find them almost worth keeping. It's kind of fun to fondle and squeeze them and feel nothing at all.

The at ease calmness seems uncharacteristically not me, thus I am a new me and I feel like I have a new lease on life and can now focus on living life and all it has to offer without the constant sexual tension and incessant thoughts of wanting to be castrated. This is a relief and pleases me very much. I thought I might be consumed with a new frustration of not having any ability to want sexual activity or to be able to perform sexually. I find it quite odd, and a big relief, that once the libido is suppressed, I have no cares or frustration about that - just relief. I think of it as having had a bad disease for most of my life and now that it is gone I am glad.

Rayne, I'm not castrated yet, but I'm obtaining referral letters in the next two weeks and then scheduling with Dr. Reed in Miami, hopefully for April. I am seriously hoping for better results from my daily dose of E and even less of whatever minimal effects T is still having on my body and mind.

Altho not castrated, having a T of 32, I have experienced many of the symptoms and don't like it. I had hot flashes and sweating, lack of motivation to do anything, sexual frustration and depression and a general lack of interest in almost everything. I would advise strongly against it as I have been trying to get back to normal thru TRT and it is a frustrating, expensive ordeal. I would really rather be at normal levels of T than low as I am.

As I remember I had wicked hot flashes as one of my first sign of change. Of course sex drive was diminishing and frequency of erections. Next came a flood of emotions. Feelings that had been blocked by T and emotional needs made their presence known. One of the oddest emotion was the desire to have a child.

Down the road has been loss of body hair. Redistribution of body fat along with weight gain. Reduction in strength and a little less energy. The best part is when I have a sexual fantasy I do not have the drive to act upon it.

Expected: Prompt arrival of hot flashes, which abated in a few months.

Gradual lose of sex drive, far fewer erections.

Calmer. Much calmer.

Unexpected: Loss of strength, very soon after.

Dry skin, hair.

Rare, but absolutely wild orgasms.

Overall: I'm a happy guy.
