What kind of blankets do you have?

Years ago we had a member from LA named Andrew the cat daddy. He loved a good pun and taking care of senior cats.
He asked one night what kind of blankets you use at night.
He lived in an area that never got much below 50f and used flannel sheets and a heating blanket.
So the question is this,
What is the outside temp where your at, what temp do you keep your house, how many and what kind of sheets and blankets do you put on your bed?
Outside 30F and lower
Inside 68F
Flannel sheets and one comforter, I start the night with everything over my head because its about 55F in the bedroom but by morning I only have the sheet on me up to my chest and the comforter is on the floor. Its still 55F in the bedroom.

68F at night on the thermostat.
Would be OFF if I had my way.
I have flannel sheets, and three blankets.
One is a heavy coarse one, one is a 'horse blanket'.
The other is a plain old blanket, heated by a 40 lb. beagle.
I also leave the PC on at night, with the power supply exhaust fan aimed at the bed.

It's 1045 PM and it is still 39F. Unbelievable. Tomorrow night we'll be back in the 0 to 15F range.
I keep the thermostat at 70 during the day, 60 at night.
I use regular cotton sheets (can't stand flannel - too lesbianesque), and a summer comforter.

Warm and cheerful 38 degrees in central Ohio. Furnace set for 68 degrees and if I am not unnaturally warm may turn it up to 69. Cotton sheets with down comforter in a duvet. Once under the covers I am oblivious to the temps around me. Guest bedroom has cotton sheets, cotton bedspread and antique quilt. I would one day like to have a Hudson Bay Point blanket if the furnace fails.

Outside is anywhere from 20F to 45F -- a little goofy this week.
The thermostat stays at 73F -- rooms of house vary by 2 degrees hotter in bedroom over living room (windows and doors). That might seem odd but I live in a house with no basement just a large concrete slab and hot water baseboard heat. That's something more than 47 tons of concrete at one temperature and heavily insulate walls and ceiling.
Blankets: cotton, flannel, big towel or fuzzy comforter.

Due to a dysautonomia associated with ADHD, I often wake soaking wet from sweat. Bedding too.
It is not from getting too hot. Just happens.
So I keep the house at 68-70 and sleep with minimal bedding as would soak up the sweat.
My choice of blanket though, -
Hudson Bay wool blanket.
I like the weight of wool lacking in comforters.
Old wool military blankets, esp Navy are nice too.

Y'all know about the series of small lines such as three and a half length one means on a Hudson Bay blanket?

It's 7 degrees with light snow outside per the weather channel. My thermostat shows 12.7 degrees and the snow is about 4 inches deep in the past 6 hours.
71 degrees inside, automatically lowers to 68 degrees at 10 PM.
Regular all cotton sheets, kind with built in stripes found at JCP.
One electric blanket and one thinly quilted bedspread. Blanket set to #3 on a 0-9 scale.

Right now the temp is around 45 Degreess but it has gotten down to the single digits on some nights. Michigan weather is strange... Anyway, I do not care for the cold so the thermostat is set for around 75 degrees, and as for blankets, I absolutely love the fuzzy ones, I can't think of the name off the top of my head, I want to say micro raschel but not sure, I have about a dozen or so of them. I keep about 6 on the bed along with cotton sheets and a comforter, half a dozen stuffed bears, 2 body pillows and 2 regular pillows. I tend to swap and wash the bedding about every other week. (Yes I go through a lot of detergent, but I can't be without a nice clean pile of warm fluff

) I figure I gotta have some sort of luxury

Also I have 3 of those snuggie blankets, I just wish they came with like a rope in the back so I can get up and walk around and not have to worry about it falling off

It's 27 outside, but that doesn't affect me. I can't control the heat in my apartment, and it's always been too warm. If I have the windows closed, it's 76, which I don't like. I usually keep the windows open, which brings it down to 74, if there's a breeze. If not, I have to use air conditioning, even in the winter. Right now, with open windows and air conditioner, it's 74 in here. I pay for my own electricity, so the landlord doesn't care about the air conditioners. I complain every year, and every year the super tells me that other people complain it's too cold. I live on the top floor facing east, so I get the heat that rises through the building during the day. I usually sleep with no clothes and no cover. On the rare occasions the heat dips to 72, I use a cotton sheet.

Outside temp is 44.6; it will get warmer when the sun gets up. The thermostats are set at 69 and 71; I have 600 thread Egyptian cotton sheets, 2 orlon blankets and a comforter. Sometimes the cats joins me but I am slightly allergic to them, more allergic to dogs who NEVER comes inside, and terribly allergic to wool.
