If you are getting message on log on I need to know every thing in the message to help. It will give me information to look for.

Lastly and most often I do not get a nick name. Often I can do nothing with out the using nick name. If you have used other nick name also please list.

seems chat dosen't work. i can login but nothing happens than. seems i am invisible than. in the info-panel it's said chat mode is ir and i should type !rules, but when i type !rules it's said that is not a valid channel or something. this happens since june last year around. annyoing - don't know what happened but what ever you did with the chat it wasn't a good idea.

but would be interesting what it was? java update? new chat system? something else?

Why does my security hate it so?

I have to go against recommendations and tell it not to block the program. But that is not an option now. Previously, if I selected "wrong" a restart cured it. Now it does not.

BTW I use Firefox with NoScript and AdBlock

and CA Security Suite - I hate CA, redundant with Firefox me thinks.

MoiYou can use IRC chat program like Chatzilla, mIRC or XChat (sorry, do not know much about windows IRC clients, haven't used windows for ages).

So point the client to darkstar1.tzo.com, port 6667.

Java is always a problem it seems.

Depending on the errors you are getting can help resolve the problem. Send me an email listing all the errors you are getting on the screen.

I would go into the control area and delete the java program and reload.

When you start to log on the site you will get an error message about not running the program. Go in anyways. There is a box you can check to not ask again about running the program.

Anti virus can also be blocking the connection.

I can't get into the Chat from the archive.

i seem to be invisible in the chatroom. i have asked the guys there to let me know if they can see what i type--i never get any response.
