Tonight is the first time in 64 years that an NFL game will be played on a Tuesday.
WHY you ask, because it snowed and the NFL commissioner thought with the storm Sunday night it was just to much to ask of football fans.
Boohoo
Governor Edward G. Rendell of Pennsylvania called it, we are a country of wusses. As a matter of fact the only people that thought it was a good idea work for the front office of the NFL. Everybody else in the country thinks maybe they should be running BASEBALL, a fair weather sport.
Football is an outdoor sport, its played no matter the weather, some of the greatest games in history have been played in bad weather, but no more. This decision was so bad Vince Lombardi's grave shook in protest.
So the question is, should that game have been postponed or should it have been played Sunday night in the blizzard?
Before you answer,
Mayor Bloomberg is being criticized, because NYC got 24 inches of snow, as well he should be, after all he is a billionaire and being so I know he has a direct line to GOD (yes that one) and did not use his influence to stop the snow. And the good people the toughest people in the world, (just ask them) believe its his fault that ALL THE SNOW was not removed two hours after it fell.
I am going to guess they like football inside or in NJ because bitching at the mayor because it snowed is well, Governor Rendell is right, a bunch of wusses.
