I could not get on for the last two days. Got the unable to show message. Was it my computer or was it the site was down. I was able to get on on the normal things like Yahoo, MSN and Google.

The site was down hit by hackers. Not the same ones as before Bobbie and all the tech staff are doing there best to keep things running. 🙏

This one required a distress call to BME. Apparently, they did something.

Big thanks to the BME tech guys for defending us from what seems to be a DOS (denial of service) attack.

"Normal" things?

EA is normal; it is every place else that is nuts (no eunuch pun intended, maybe).

A Denial of Service attack on EA at the same time the Wiki Leaker leader was having the same thing done to him. Curious.

Check the secret cable messages to see whose behind is behind this.

Then have Slammr's cute avatar slice off their balls.

The DDoS attack on Wikileaks was not the same thing. The attack on Wikileaks went from a server destroying 2 gigabits a second to an absolutely phenomenal 10 gigabits a second.

Wikileaks only survived by running into Amazon's cloud of servers and Amazon threw them out today. The site is looking for a huge, robust server farm that might host them.

The tech stuff is fascinating but way beyond me.

Bottom line, will it make the ball-hunting easier?

I missed the EA community.

Everyone. Even the ( )o( )s. 🙄

Glad the site is back up.

Thanks to all responsible.

It is reassuring that the problem was not with my puter

I was runing all sorts of diognistics to try to clear the problem

Every once in a while I could connect, then things froze up again

Thank the techies for fixing the damage done by the intruders.

I missed my family here on EA

BTW some of the icons are still missing so I will improvise----DICK WAVE
