The Dead Giveaway on copy/paste

I've mentioned it before, so here it is, since I just trashed a story with all the earmarks of being copied and pasted from another site online.
When you do this, it leaves the following text pattern:
The story will go on like this for a bit, and everything in the paragraph will look normal. Eventually, however, it will hit a section of text that is probably caused by an automatic word wrap that causes it to do bizarre things
like this in paragraph spacing. Then it will go as usual for perhaps even one more paragraph. It will be easy to read, and then all of
a sudden it will
break into lines like this.
So, if you're thinking that you can get away with highlighting the text of a story on another site, and then posting it here, you're wrong. You will be caught right off the bat.
