Drug debt revenge torture has guy get his genitals cut off

Some of these news journalists can't write a story properly, but basically it seems that this British guy had a drug debt and was lured to Portugal where other Brits tortured him, cutting off several body parts including his genitals and also breaking a lot of his bones.
Again, I think it is weird how these news outlets post name and pictures of the victim. You'd think they'd have some ethical code to protect privacy of victims.

Locals yesterday said cops have never twigged what it meant.
But they claimed Ross's horror hostage ordeal in Portugal - in which his ear, finger and two toes were cut off over a drug debt - has now left the town DRUG-FREE.
One Wick local, who asked not to be named, said: "They've thought they are the kingpins of Wick for years. Now they're not so cocky.
"They were so bold, they sent off a rocket every time they got a new consignment up the A9. Everyone in the town knows what the rocket means.
"It was so obvious none of us can work out why the police didn't ever cotton on to it. They set it off from the highest street in the town.
"The rockets are a bit like flares - but they make a massive bang in the air.
"So if the druggies didn't see it, they certainly heard it. It's the signal for everyone to go to their dealer."
Ross's genitals were also mutilated in his suspected 13-day ordeal.
He was last night facing a series of plastic surgery operations while under police guard in Sao Jose hospital in Lisbon.
It emerged last night that cops fear his missing body parts were sent to his kidnappers' rivals as a Mafia-style warning.
A source said: "These people want to show who is in charge. Receiving a finger in the post shows anyone attempting to move on to your patch you mean business."
Newpapers in Portugal also claim that Ross had previously been abducted for two days in August before his latest ordeal - and warned what would happen if the debt was not resolved.

Last week we told how Ross, his wife Donna Harper, 26, and some of her extended family - branded the "Sopranos of Wick" - have landed in court for a string of drug deals, sex rows, bust-ups and violent attacks.
Four men - Calum McLeod, of the Western Isles, John McLean, from Manchester, and Terence Macgurk and Ronnie Rose from the Midlands - are being held in a Portuguese jail over Ross's ordeal.
A fifth man, who was guarding Ross, fled after hearing of the arrests and left his victim to run into the street for help.
