Moi would like to wish all our Northern Hemisphere members a Merry Autumnal Equinox.
Mid-way between Solstices a time of balance and reflection.
Moi
Southern Hemisphere members, sorry

Yep today you don't know if your coming or going.
This is of course a Pagan holiday, one of many.

In the southern hemisphere, it's the vernal equinox.

Good point gareth19, I was just about to point out the same thing as I read the initial post.
Also of note, this Autumnal (Northern Hemisphere)/Vernal (Southern Hemisphere) Equinox will also fall on a full moon.

Not only the full moon, but also the close passing of Jupiter. which is easily visible just to the left of the moon. --FLO--

Isn't it strange, weird, unusual, confounding to the senses
that a close passing of Uranus is always in the middle of a full moon?

Now if it would just clear up and quit raining I might be able to see it.

I don't think anything would burn in this area, everything is totally soaked, we got about 3 inches in 24 hours or so.
