Men with premature ejaculation may have twice the number of dorsal nerves

Interesting study showing that average number of dorsal nerves (in the penis) is 3 or 4 but guys with premature ejaculation average is seven.

If that is true, then the logical way to prevent it is to sever a couple of those nerves in men suffering from PE.

That is, in fact, part of the treatment... dorsal neurectomy or neurotomy.

Wouldn't it be better to just practice kegel and self-control techniques than to jump to surgery? That seems extreme. D:

Yes, it is. However, having done this, I can say - it's a lot of work. There is a huge pay-off in the end, but it would be nice to not have sex be a lot of work - it's supposed to be fun. It will take partner involvement and several months to several years to master the kegel based techniques.

Breathing helps...

Or, you could have surgery or other treatment options and last about 3x longer without any work at all:
