People CAN turn away from racism

Okay, this is an odd posting for me, but this little video really struck me.

Here's a guy who went from leading a KKK chapter to renouncing all hatred/racism.

Anyway, this guy in this vid, he hardly seems well 'edjumicated', not too bright, kinda redneck-y, but consider how he must have had to turn his back on his family, friends, everybody and everything he stood for to get to this point.

It's also pretty funny; he does spin a good yarn.

Can you imagine the black preacher's reaction when he found out this guy came over to his side

I dunno... I probably couldn't stand to talk to this guy more than 5 minutes, but it sure is nice to know this sort of thing happens.

NOTE: it starts off SEEMING like he is still in the KKK; let him tell his story and find out where he's going. He exsagerates his final statement (the story he tells didn't 'destroy' the KKK) but he does have something to say.

Well they say that people dont change,this just shows that no matter what your thoughts, you can change what you feel towords yourfellow man.

No doubt any preacher,black or white would be glad to hear that they have had a change of heart,and i think they would be more welcome.

After all we all might be different in thinking,and in colour but at the end of the day we are all human,and we should treat each other as a human and not by the colour,or race that we are.

Years back when our city was less particular in who they allowed to have booths at our annual Route 66 festival, one booth was handing out both KKK and Aryan Nation literature. I stopped by there once to gather sample literature.

Later, I walked by it several times, just smiling and wearing my yamaka

I used to keep one of those (I thought it was 'yarmulka', oops!) on my desk beside the front door to quicky put on when I'd notice the Jehova's Witlesses at the door. They really used to come about once a month to my place.

Re. the avatar; I can't decide if I should keep the words as they are, or change them to "Pity the Tank, its condom is twice its size", but then it wouldn't be eunuch-related :p

I DUNNO. This little sheep is always wary of the clothing of other sheep.
