This is real and in the original was a bit better quality. It is a very professional job. Note how carefully he deals with the removal of the tunica from each ball and the care with which he sews up the final stump on each side avoiding any bleeding by stitching the tunica closed over the stitched up cord stump which I think is is done to prevent painful adhesions developing. There are several ORR videos of better quality but in my view not as professionally done

This doctor is very skilled, it appears...Everything he does seems neat, and done with "surgical precision" (hehe).... I just wish it were my empty scrotum in that footage...Lucky guy dragonfly

Just wondering,
could the Dr. pulled each testicle out further away from the body and removed more of the cords and sheath? I would want as much removed as possible.
I didn't notice catherization of the cord stump. Is that ever done. Not instead of stitches but in addition to stitches.
Presumably the cord stump heals and the stitches dissolve?
How far does the cord stump retract into the body?
Would there be any sensations by the cord stump afterwards?
Does one have a feeling of phantom testicles or phantom ball pain afterwards.
Is it possible to make one incision down the middle of the scrotum and then remove both testes from that single incision? The second removal almost looked as if it was from a center line incision.

I hope I am not creating any negative feelings by answering some of your questions based on my experience. My cords were tied off and cauterized per my request since I did not want to risk internal bleeding. Later on the EA I read about the cords attaching to the scrotal wall and causing pain. I did not have this problem I think because of being cauterized. I have no feelings of cords so I think they have pulled up my abdomen on their own.
I never had phantom pain but fluid filled the void in my scrotum and was eventually absorbed. The fluid did not cause any pain but made my scrotum look like the testicles were still there.
Both of my testicles were removed from a single center line incision.

It was different from ones I've seen before in that he clamped the cords and cut them before sewing them up. Others tie suture around the cords before cutting them.
Tying them just seems like a better approach.

This is good information to know. Of course, as we know, each person's experience is different. But if I ever get the opportunity to have mine surgically removed I want to have in my information bank as much info from others as possible. While the above mentioned video was not great quality, nor was it uninterrupted, it was one of the most illustrative and informative that I have seen to date. (there may be others, but for me it was the best so far). Thanks for the link. I will probably go to sleep for a long time visualizing that video and wishing it was me.
