The Institution

Well, I guess no one else is going to comment on this story, and it's too good for someone not to post.
I have been hanging back because youth correction facilities is something of a hot button with me, having worked in such institutions for two years.
Pueros, as usual you are weaving an excellent tale. I have to admit I was somewhat bothered by the picture you painted with the obvious blatant abuse that went on, but you made that scenario right by explaining that the Institution officials were working outside the law.
Ok, having defended the millions of kids that are in such places, let me also say this. I have been told many times by senior guards (actually they call themselves Correction Officers at least in North Carolina) that the youth facilities suffer the hightest turnover of staff, even higher that max security murderers and mob members, because teenagers in general, and in particular those in trouble, as so volatile and unpredictable that tensions reach an unbelievable level.
Such things as Pueros describes would never happen in any institution that I have worked in (about 10 dealing with teens) but there are those who wish they would - it would make life a lot easier for those who have to deal with them every day.
But back to the story. I for one am enjoying it immensely! Oce again thank you, Pueros!
