It certainly isn't as easy as dialing 1-800-NUTS-OFF...

very hard. to have a doctor do it will take two letters from psychiatrists after you find the one of the few doctors that will do it. They are normally srs doctors but will occasionally remove testicles as a prelude to srs.

next would be money, insurance will not pay unless it is a medical necessity (i.e. cancer, etc.). So your looking at around $10,000 out of pocket.

Next choice would be a cutter. I don't think i need to tell you the dangers there. plus since we are talking legal dangers for the cutter, plan on spending quite some time, years maybe, finding and then building trust between you and the cutter.

Read some of the thread about alcohol injections into the testes. Several members here- myself, tr and greylayer, maybe others- have done that and it can lead to having them surgically removed and insurance will pay for it as it is not just elective surgery. Of course you can't tell the doctor how your balls became atrophied and very hard and stopped making testosterone or it would be a self-induced condition and the insurance guys wouldn't like that.

Getting castrated can be done but it is not as easy as 1,2 and 3. But whatever you may choose to do, a lengthy trial of chemical castration should be a prelude to anything permanent.

So if you know of a link on this site post it and I will go there and read it. Or you can cut and post. Or just the the best you can with telling me.

I cant say much for the US. It has been 25 years since I lived there but I can give you an Australian view which I suppose would be much the same.

The most successfull approach is to develop a lot of pain (imaginary or otherwise) in your testicles and complain to your Dr about it for a while and then progress it to the point of asking for them to be removed.

You may need to shop around for Dr's. Some are very reluctant to go along with an optional orchiectomy but there are others out there more sympathetic but they will require some justification however nebulous. Try, try, and try again if at frst you don't succeed. Most GP's dont want to know about testicles and will ship you off to a urologist who do this everyday for a living and therefore may be more sympathetic.

I know 2 guys who used this fake pain approach with some success. One faked it completely but the other did have a stuck testicle so had a better excuse. Both are now eunuchs and happy with the result.

You can try other approaches of self casting etc but that will likely get you consigned to the funny farm with testicles still intact unless of course you are successful in getting them off before getting hauled to the emergency room and thence to the funny farm. Neither way will be fun. Some have not survived this approach so beware!!!

Oh BTW I worked on mine by frequent prolonged banding so they are now greatly shrunken and entirely non-functional. Not much use to me after the prostate removal about a year ago. One of these days I will try to get them taken off for fear of cancer etc 🍑👋🍑👋

A giant BOO HISS on that idea....

As a patient who had to jump through a lot of hoops with his doctor because of people such as you describe I would ask everyone to NOT use fake pain as an excuse to get an orchiectomy. And for what its worth this is NOT a slam dunk. You will spend a long time trying a wide variety of treatments and cures (Trust me) before you even get to the point of talking about orcheictomy and then its not going to happen anyway with most doctors. They just don't do orchiectomy for anything but cancer *period.

I think its obvious that anyone who wants this surgery has to deal with a medical system that is going to wonder if the patient has an understandable reason (Transexual, fear of out of control sex drive etc) or is insane like the Heavens Gate Cult that said that members needed to be castrated so they could travel to the "UFO" after they killed themselves. So if we assume you will need a letter (or letters) from a shrink to verify the non nutcase status? Why not do it that way? I had to have one letter even though I was more "mainstream" A mental health screening is not a bad process and its nice to know I'm not secretly a crazed loon.

As to banding and injecting odd things into the testes.... Danger Will Robinson! Thats some very scary stuff that can really hurt you. Blood Clots, how about if the needle hit a vein? Death can really ruin your day.
