Hi all,

I was wondering how much Tamoxifen is needed to keep gyno away. How should I take it and should I take it every day?

I have been taking 20 mg of Genox (Tamoxifen) daily for the last 16 months while I am on CA. Not only does it seem to prevent breast growth but it also helps to prevent osteoporosis and reduce libido.

It would be really helpful if you spelled out what CA is instead of abbreviating. I think I know, but am not entirely sure.

Wouldn't Tamoxifen + Cyproterone acetate help to *accelerate* osteoporosis, as you are potentially significantly reducing the effects of both androgen and estrogen, which, at the very least estrogen, is needed to feed your bones?

Cyproterone acetate (CA) is Androcur, Siterone and other brands of antiandrogens. Sorry to have confused you.

I've read that tamoxifen may help to prevent osteoporosis because it is thought to decrease estrogen in breast tissue but not necessarily in other organs. But I also take 1,500 mg of calcium daily to be sure that I am getting enough.

But no one said how much to take a day. But they did say 20 mg of Genox (Tamoxifen) daily. Can you take them both and how much a day
