How long before Androcur kicks in?

I was on 200mg spiro for about 6 months which gave me a T-level of 0.75 nmol/L. About a week ago I decided to wean myself of spiro and start Androcur.
I started taking 25mg androcur am and pm (50mg a day) and reduced my spiro to 100mg. So now I'm on 100mg spiro and 50mg Androcur a day. However although I don't have any morning erections, I've started to experience soft erections again if Im arroused in any way.
Is it normal with soft erection even with very low T.?
How long does it take the Androcur to kick in?
Is it more effective to take the 50 mg androcur in one go rather than splitting it into 25mg am and pm?

The number of daily doses shouldn't make any difference. It's the overall amount per day (or week) that matters. The dosage needed varies from person to person. The info about cyproterone acetate on Inhouse Pharmacy's website states that some people need 200mg daily, whereas as little as 10mg per week is enough to induce impotence for some men. I think I must be in the latter group as both of my trials with cyproterone have had me impotent by week 3 or so, and in my second trial I only took about 25mg throughout week 1 only!
I'd say it (cyproterone acetate) 'kicks in' pretty immediately, in that I could feel my hormones changing within the first day. But there's enough residual testosterone in one's system to maintain libido/erections for a week or two. Despite only taking cyproterone for a week my testosterone production collapsed and didn't get going again for many weeks, and it was months before I was anywhere near pre-castration potency.

The effectiveness of AC is a cumulative thing - it builds up. Titrating up slowly hinders that accumulation. For your best effectiveness on AC, titrate off the Spiro soon, and then increase your AC to loading levels (usually 100-150 mg / day). Once you have achieved desired result, titrate down slowly to find your maintenance level.
It is very rare for someone to be hypersensitive to AC. It tends to be a fairly straight forward type situation. The combination you are presently on would tend to produce minimal results over time, I suspect

I guess I must be hypersensitive then kristoff. Would I be right in thinking that if I only need a tiny dose, then it'll have little or no adverse affect on my liver?

Does spiro interfere with the AC? I will eventually completely come off the spiro, but am also using it as a blood pressure med for a few more weeks.
I still don't know why Ive suddenly begun having soft erections again. A I mentioned my T was already at 0.75 nmol/L a month ago.
