All in the Mind

I was pleased to discover that Kortpeel had posted another story while I was on the road. His All in the Mind (http://www.eunuch.org/Alpha/A/ea_30558all_in_t.htm) is like every other Kortpeel story brilliantly written and unlike anything he has posted before on the Archive.
Like my favorite Archive story of all time, Kortpeels very short "Evenin' Dearie" (http://www.eunuch.org/Alpha/X/ea_1130_evenin_.htm), it could just as easily have been published in any mainstream location. In fact, All in the Mind might work better on a mainstream story site (or in a literary magazine) where the ending would come as a shock, rather than the expected dénouement. Brilliantly done!
