Body hair

Post by unencumbered (imported) »

Hi folks,

I've been taking Siterone for over a year now. I've noticed a significant loss of body hair. Its not all gone but it seems to be significantly shorter and finer. My beard and head hair does not grow so fast anymore either. Is this my imagination or have others experienced it? Will it continue until I have little or no body hair left?

It is one of the more common side effects of testosterone depletion. Body hair will fall out and the process will likely continue until much of it is gone.

It also works in reverse. When I first went onto testosterone replacement the dose was far too high. I grew an abundance of body hair and looked like a baboon in the bathroom mirror. Also my voice became hoarse and I had headaches.

It seems like the more body hair you have will not change as much with lower testosterone levels. If you had more modest amount of hair it will be far more noticeable reduction. Some people are prone to having more hair then others. Much has to do with heredity. Just like balding is mostly due to hereditary factors. Some is hormonal as in the balding the crown of the head. Hair loss in the front of the head is not as much hormonal but heredity. I am still loosing hair in the front. Even being at castration levels for 8+ years.
