Do you shave your body hair?

What are people's thoughts on shaving? I'm one of the guys here who still has my scrotum and it's contents, and I usually keep it shaved. It's more attractive to be smooth. I shave my legs and my chest for the winter, but not in the summer. It's embarrasing being around other guys wearing shorts and being hairless. When I'm wearing shorts I only want my nuts to be hairless, because almost no one will no about it.

I would like to be free of both body and facial hair. I tried shaving my legs once, just recently, and really liked the look and feel of having them hairless. I also try to trim and spot shave some of my other body hair.

Prefer the "natural" look. Maybe I'd feel otherwise if I were very hairy (think Robin Williams). It's just easier not to bother with elaborate cosmetic routines. I feel that I am what I am, to paraphrase Popeye, and the world can like me or leave me as it sees fit. I'm not vain about my appearance (and believe me, I have little reason to be), so efforts at primping and preening seem futile.
It's become the norm for women to trim or shave their pubic hair, and this is a turn-off. Much prefer the old-time bush. More to look at, and more suggestive and flirtatious - the final veil.
Male models shave their bodies, for a smooth, clean, feminine look in ads. Some men (usually gay) copy the models. But true g0ys like men as they are - sweet lithe-limbed twinks, or hulking grizzly bears. I don't seek feminized men. Give me a man, or give me a woman.

I shave for a few reasons, I guess. Whatever they are, I've learned a few things.
- Nair works fine, but fuck me, it stinks. If you can stand the smell for 3 solid days after, use it.
- I can use Nair on my 'upper' pubes (above the willy) but yeah... don't use that stuff on the inner tops of your legs or nuts. Ouch.
- Best pubic shaving method I've found;
- Use beard trimmer first on upper area, but never on the ball-sack. You WILL cut yourself.
- First, soak as long as you can in the tub.
- Shave in direction of growth first, then go backwards.
- doing your nuts; try to keep one hand (your 'other' hand, the one you don't write/shave with) dry of shaving cream, or keep a towel handy and keep drying that hand. This makes it 'grippy' enough to tug your scrotum taught.
- USE your balls (if you have them!). Streatch the skin around one, and shave along that area; then roll the skin over it and do the next area.
- Use a (safety!) razor that has been used ONCE on your face already. I find a brand-new razor makes tiny cuts too easy.
Legs take abso-fucking-lutely too long with a razor. Seems like it takes me an hour. Therefor, save up for a couple of bottles of Nair (or whatever). And yeah, you will need more than one if you are a big guy.

I've never liked my body hair. I started thinking of having it removed as soon as it started growing more, which was also around the time I started thinking about having my genitals removed (age 9-10 or so).
I really got into it at one point in high school, keeping my entire body very well shaved for over a year. I've tried to go back to shaving my body, most recently a few days ago, but I'm pretty hairy now, so it takes a lot of time, the results are far from perfect, the hair grows back quickly, and I get lots of irritation/ingrown hairs. I'm giving up on shaving again. I'm looking forward to any decrease in body hair that may come with my castration, and when I have the money, I'll probably be looking into permanent removal methods.
I think removal of body hair can be related to castration; both involve getting rid of something associated with being a man.

Gee! It's so disappointing that Bobover doesn't look anything like his avatar.
Bet that's ruined many a fantasy.

Im the same way, I keep fully shaved all over my body in the winter, and let it start growing back in late spring, with exception of my pubic hair and upper thigh hair, which I keep shaved off all year long. I love the feeling of a fresh pair of nylons on my freshely shaved legs and its hard for me to let it grow back. I keep the upper thigh shaved, like from the top of my knee and up. So when I do wear a pair of nylons, this is the area I love to stroke and carress anyway.
