Cops: Child-Raping Missouri Family May Have Bodies in Yard

Cpl. Bill Lowe of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 26-year-old woman came forward to investigators in mid-August with the allegations.

A probable cause statement released by the Lafayette County prosecutor's office says five other siblings of the woman have accused all five men of abuse, but it's unclear whether all the siblings were claiming to be victims.

Lowe said the woman told investigators that she and her siblings had buried glass jars around the property that were filled with messages "about what was happening to them" when they were younger. The woman said she had "suppressed many of the memories of abuse perpetrated on her" and her siblings, according to the probable cause statement.

Sgt. Collin Stosberg of the Highway Patrol said the adults had told the children to write down their bad memories.

"That was what they were told. Write these memories down, put them in a jar and bury it and the memories would go away," Stosberg said. "It was a way for them to cope."

The woman who came forward also claimed some of the men forced her to have sex with a dog and to watch as her brother was abused.

"She became pregnant and was made to have an abortion at age 11 1/2. She doesn't remember any sexual abuse after that date," the probable cause statement said.

Sheriff Alumbaugh pleaded for the public's help, saying investigators "believe that there are other victims out there" and that the public can provide more information.

So the story although FICTIONAL has a sinister side in thet the victims never see how abused they were and how they are preparing to visit the legacy of abuse to a new generation of victims.

We see that as victims migrate into the world where the perpetrators have no influence or control they realize what was done to them.

We also see that like in the story people die so that the lifestyle might be protected and continued. There are real life parallels to The New Neighbor Boy.

The question is, if you identified with the story, and saw flashes of your own life in it, DO YOU realize the extent of your OWN abuse and how it has affected YOUR outlook on life and how YOU may or may not relate to people?

Wow I think I will read this story again by the light of day. A little too scarey to read at night. For myself and at this age I find peace in the fact that I became a victim after abuse. Today I only live with what was done to me. If I became an abuser instead of a victim I would have to live with what I did to others.

You, my friend, are comfortable with your scars. Realize that some are BLIND to them.

Google the stories with "Missouri family child molesters" if you look to be creeped out with how the "art" here imitates that to which many are blind.

Until the VB upgrade bullshit is sorted out, I'm not going into it again. I did once, and it got lost the next day. But yes, I do identify with at least the "ignored at home" part of it and bad food.

To this day, Kraft mac'n'cheese makes me homicidal. Homocidal. Whatever...

Regarding Paolo's post.

I've always held the notion that if someone is parked in front of their computer reading, or creating something with Poser (3D graphic art modeling software), that he is NOT out on the streets looking to commit a real crime.

I just want the discussions to reflect in a discussion that no one here is in any way condoning this behavior expressed in any story here.

I think that we have succeeded in that aim.

Of course, the modification of adults is one thing. But the modification of those below the traditional age of consent could be a problem in certain sets of circumstances.

We want to avoid problems. Therefore, what I said and what I asked in the message boards was necessary so that it is impossible to get the wrong idea about the E.A. regardless of what any one individual who comes here might or might not do.

Can you see this? I hope so. We need to make sure that nobody could ever say that these stories are on the E.A. may be a contributing cause.

The E.A. must be a reflection of what happens or of what has happened. It must ever be seen as a cause.

For example. Young people have wrecked cars and that is expected. However, the cell phone is being seen as a reason why they wreck cars. They will wreck cars even if you outlaw cell phones and nobody has them.

...bad things happen in the real world. They will happen whether or not the E.A. has various stories archived. The E.A. is NOT a reason why it happens.

That is what I want the E.A. discussions to impress upon people.

Could it be possible that you left it someplace where the SUN can't shine on it. Surely in such a dark, dank, cavernous place retrieval could NOT be easily accomplished...
