This is a charming story. By way of a brief synopsis, a young pre-teen boy - I guess about 8 or 9 - takes the family pet to the local vet, to get him neutered. By way of a spin-off to neutering the dog, the vet neuters the little boy as well. At the very end, the vet's young assistant turns out to be not only that, but his gelded sex-slave.

There are one or two loose ends, particularly WHY the vet castrates the little boy - I guess it was compulsive, or else, perhaps, while taking out one lot of testicles he might as well take out a second lot : all in the day's work. And what will happen in a day or two when the swelling dies down, the dressing comes off, and the little boy wonders where his balls have gone?

I hope Stefan Is Me enjoys the story although I guess it will have its detractors, particularly those members who have a repugnance to tales about castrating children.

Fun story! Thanks, Artistic, for doing this. If anybody is curious, its basically (very long story short here) a daydream / nightmare of mine from when I was very, very young. I was just chatting with the author about it and he suprised me with the story.

I wonder what will happen when the parents or the authorities discover that one of the boys has been castrated. Will the authorities inspect all the boys in town to see if they too have been castrated? Will they learn that it was the vet who did it?

How will the castrations be discovered? Routine physicals? Physicals because the boys are not starting puberty?

This is what comes of doing things in too much of a hurry. Re-reading the piece I've just noticed that Stefan is said to be hyper-active. All the fiction on the subject indicates that where little boys are hyper-active or suffer from attention deficit syndrome - and similar conditions - that they all become angels once the cause has been removed. That is why the vet neuters Stefan - his problem is identical to the dog's.

I have perpetrated the same myth throughout the "Simon" stories beginning with "And Afterwards".

I suggest that nobody knows whether castration really does cure hyperactivity &c. and it's probably just as well that we don't.

Sorry- been having flu and haven't followed up my postings for a week.

This could develop into quite a neat little storyline, perhaps opening:

Kieron (aged 10) enters, moaning: Mommy-

Mommy What is it, dearest?

Kieron Some boys in the locker-room told me I've got no balls. What's it mean, Mommy, to have no balls?

With difficulty Mommy persuades Kieron to take his jeans and pants down, and discovers he is, in fact, ball-less. Compares notes with next-door neighbour who discovers her boy is similarly lacking.
