I'm looking at androcur depot but along the description (Androcur Depo) it says "Ampules/phials (oral/parent)." I always thougth "depot" was an injection? Joe

A depot is an injection of a particular med. That med may be shipped in a pre-filled syringe but more commonly is shipped in an ampule or phial. You have to supply your own syringe and get the med into it to inject it

Thiought so, I was confused by the labeling.

First injection went in today (300mg, 3ml). With my already weakend testosterone state, I don't see it taking the 15 days to start showing.

I know this is an old thread. Is there any chance of an up date. My wife is wanting to start me on androcur also. We have the first 3 doses. She would like us to chat with someone that has used it as an injection. We also have 3 injections of Depo Provera in the mail.

"Parent" in this context probably means "Parenteral", which means "not by mouth".
