Again, the New Year's pastime...

In TV, my choices were:

Battlestar Galactica (I'm a sci fi phreak and a giant nerd)

The Daily Show (for sheer silly fun)

Doctor Who and Torchwood.

I only watch a little TV through my computer, but these two are exceptional.

I have not heard of those programs. What are they like.

I would like to find some programs and movies where men are women. Might help my wife to be more open minded. She has enjoyed those which we have seen so far but still considers it unacceptable in real life.

For me, the now cancelled, Life On Mars was a favorite along with Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show. I don't have cable. --FLO--

Star Trek in all of its forms except for the recent Movie...they blew up Vulcan!

Babylon 5 - one of the greats...think of it as a Soap Opera in space (sort of) the characters are always changing and evolving.

Dallas and Knots Landing

Battlestar Galactica both the old and the new

Doctor Who...i love Captain Jack...what a nice chest he has yummy :D

Modern Marvels...just about anything on the history channel of Discovery

Nova

Ooh.. Life On Mars was pretty darn cool.

I'd have to say: The Venture Bros. and Desperate Housewives. :)

Doctor Who is a British show that has been around the block a few times (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Who)...the Doctor is the last of the time lords and he travels through history in Blue British police box. In America the SciFi channel shows the newer episodes from time to time...

TorchWood (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torchwood) is a spin off from Doctor Who and in America is on the BBC America channel. Staring Captain Jack...i think Captain Jack is in love with the Doctor :D and was seen kissing the doctor in one episode.

Calling all Trekies.

I thought they imploded Vulcan with a black hole, not exploded.

And it didn't count because it did not happen in the dominant time line.

Like, Enterprise, I thought the new movie really tried to respect Trek lore, as when at the end of Enterprise, they explained how Klingons got a more, human look, as presented in the original series.

I prefer my Vulcans larger and stronger then people, with pale skin and green blood as was Nimoy's original.

Live long and prosper. :D
