Adobe Flash Player and Settings - where I dare not venture .

I use the screen capture "GRAB" on the Macintosh. Stop the movie and invoke the capture.

Of course they are copyrighted pictures and only for your personal use.

How about for us real world PC users and Firefox?

I do Shift, Command, (Apple Key) & 4 and then lasso the part I want on my home computer. This is built into all Macs. This makes a PNG file and PhotoShop will convert it to just about any format.

I think you have to pay extra to obtain this capability on the PC. Haven't figured out a way to do it on the work one that has XP Professional. :-\

Also, look out for that site's pop-under. It uses resources like crazy if you don't close it too.

Plus, some video codecs won't let the screen capture "capture" the image either.

It is able to download videos from the pages.

After installation - go to the page where you want to grab video, then click on it's icon.

Should work on windows/linux/osx - the only requirement is firefox

Press the PRINT SCREEN key to capture the screen.

After you have done this, go into Paint, and do a PASTE.

You can also hold down ALT and press PRINT SCREEN to capture just the current (active) Window instead of the whole screen.

"Paint" can be found in Start-->Programs-->Accessories.

A "Paste" is done by clicking on the EDIT menu, then clicking on PASTE.

If you don't want to use "Paint", you can use ANY program that can accept pictures... Such as Microsoft Word, OpenOffice Writer, Google Picassa, IrfanView, PowerPoint, etc. Just open the program and do a paste.

(note to Mac Users: Shift-Control-Command-3 on a Mac will do the same thing as the Print Screen key on a Windows PC)

Instead of using Paint you can drop it into Word and adjust formatting using the edit picture commands. This includes resizing, rotation and cropping without much reduction in quality

If you have either Windows Vista or Windows 7, you can use the Microsoft Snipping Tool. This is a wonderful bit of software that lets you select any area of your screen (rectangle, free form, etc.) and then copy and save it. With Snipping Tool, it's almost effortless to save screen shots as pictures and insert them in documents or e-mails. Highly recommended.
