On Dec 1st I had a hearing in downtown San Diego to determine if I qualified for permanent disability status. As I am sure many of you know I have been struggling with chronic depression for quite awhile now, and the Judge came down on my side and side and said, "YES". It has taken three and half years and crossing some of the biggest mental deserts of my life but this makes it all worth while...
just wanted to share!

Congrads.
I lost out due to bad representation.
I do have my private disability policy paying my way.
Thank God I am out of today's economy.

Thanks, my hearing was no more then 15 minutes long and was represented by Binder and Binder. I know quite a bit about computers and can keep up in with any computer tech talk, but I did not have a clue what was going on. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. The judge never looked at me and all i could see of him was his white hair the rest of his head was hidden behind his monitor. If you file for Permanent disability status you need a good lawyer and I highly recommend Binder and Binder.
Just getting past the hearing has taken a great weight off my shoulders.
Glad you had your policy.

oops, I used Binder and Binder.
They gave me some newbie who did not know his way around a hearing.
Appeals, exhausted.

Sorry, to hear that...my case started 40 mins late and she told me that we had a fair judge and he was the boss of the other judges, but some judges where not fair at all. At least you did not have to pay the lawer!
