Yes, it's sad when men are forced to be castrated against their will, it's also sad that men can't be castrated if it is their will or desire. NOTE: 3) The person was a male before castration. I guess when you lose everything, you're no longer male.

It's interesting that the article uses the word "castration" to include both the removal of the testicles and penis. Not sure why the authors didn't differentiate between the two. The pictures are amazing, I've always wanted to see the results of the Hijra surgery (if you can call it that), and now that I have, I can't imagine what these men must have endured, even with the drugs. If you wanted to lose everything, that's one thing, but to lose everything against your will must have been devastating. I would have thought that it would have led to suicide, but instead the one man joined the group. As it said, he was resigned to his new condition.

Before anyone thinks about going to India and searching out these people to do their unmanning, please think twice, it might cost you your life.

When I look at this I really wonder, you know the old saying that "one man's poison is another man's bacon?" Well, it seems to me that there are a lot of things that happen to the WRONG person, that would be much better applied to some other person who would benefit from them.

I am sure that if these "Hijra" would offer safe and sensible GRS to any of their prospective recruits, they would have enough transgendered volunteers that they would not have to abduct boys to keep their Hijrah sect alive. Instead, the "surgery" they perform is just brutal and sick, and these Hijrah that did this to these boys should be locked up in prison.

From the pictures it's hard to determine their ages, they did have pubic hair so they were more than likely past puberty, but that doesn't matter, they could be young teenagers. I know that not every Hijra is kidnapped, a lot of them are volunteers who submit to the crude surgery to become part of this unique group. Some of the men might be transvestites or transsexuals, and maybe some are like a lot of wannabee's on this sight. Men who want to become eunuchs but can't get the surgery from a qualified surgeon. By the way, I can no longer load the page.
