Stopped Siterone to test results.

I was taking siterone for over 2 years, and excluding a bit of weight gain, I have been very happy with the results. I stopped about 3 months ago by reducing the dose over a month period, and have been drug free for about 2 months.
I have no desire to have my T go backup, i would just like to see the results of the long term usuage and see if my testicales have been damaged enough that the drugs arent needed until it becomes possible to have a complete castration.
My T test of last week, shows i am still @ 52 so there has been no change since i stopped.
Has anybody else noticed a complete shutdown after stopping the drugs, it would be awesome if i didnt need to go back on the drugs.

I would be VERY interested in the results too.
I have been getting some spontaneous erections (yukkkk) and so have temporarily upped my dose to 150 mg per day. Still short of the reccomended 200 mg as stated in the enclosed notes from the manufacturer....

Long term usage of the drug can have some permanent damage. Do not know of any data to show how permanent one can get. Very hard to get any real data with a survey. Each body can respond different. Age can also be a large factor. Did you know what your hormone levels were before siterone? That could be a very important information.

This is what is often rumored will happen with an extended period with Androcur. It is great to have some objective testing to see that it does happen. Regular steroid users will try to jump start their regular testosterone production with HCG so it maybe possible to get your testicles working again but since that is probably not wanted in your case, I'd say congratulations!

My history from Dr. visits and tests:
First Below "normal" T level even for my age was detected. (Goodie)
Second, Advised of long term health risks of low T; TRT was recommended.
Third, Started TRT. Disliked how it affected me.
Stopped TRT. Felt better.
Started Siterone on 2 month trial. Felt much better.
Stopped Siterone 1 month ago.
Very surprised that nocturnal erections are a nightly event, sometimes 2 and 3 times a night, and they are harder and bigger than at any time in recent memory, even though blood test indicates I am again at a below normal (for my age) T level.
So you just never really can predict what will happen or why.
I would add however that I have no interest or desire in doing anything with these newfound noctural erections, as awesome as they are.
My new closing line: "Just because you can, doesn't mean you have to. "
And more people should observe that philosophy moment to moment, daily.

This one of those things "Your Mileage May Very". It's dependent on many variables, one of which is how far have your testicles have atrophied. The longer that the drugs are taken the less chance of the testicles recovering. There are many stories of teenagers taking steroids and in there 20's find out there testicles didn't develop and there are eunuchs.

I was near the low range of 300, and on siterone i dropped down to 50 and hung there with a low of 42 taking 100mg a day, when i dropped to 50mg a day my rate fluxed between 45-55 usually right around 50.

DavidB, I was wondering if you are still off the siterone and the changes to date, if any.

I used siterone for only 2 months. Now, having not used it for 2 months my experience is that I get really hard spontaneous erections multiple times during the night while asleep that wake me up but it is very difficult (though possible with a lot of effort) to get an erection on demand. Interest in all things sexual has diminished most of the time but on occasion does return. My libido is not completely gone but it is odd and radically different than prior to using siterone. My next T test isn't until early 2010 so I can't report at this time on any relationship of T level to my personal experiences.

I have been on siterone for eleven months and have experienced all the indications of someone with low testosterone, including significant shrinkage of my testes. I'm thinking about stopping the siterone after one year to see if these changes are now permanent or if I need to continue with the regimen.
