Story part sizes for "Strip Poker"

Post by curious_guy (imported) »

I am working on a continuation of "Strip Poker". I currently have a part two which is 5,881 words and a part three that is 2,481 words. There is a time gap of about six months between part two and three.

Should I divide part two into two roughly equal parts and change part three into part four? Or, should I leave the parts as they are?

I think the time-division would be the over-riding factor, more than number of words. I'd let the 3rd part just be short :)

I think I did make myself clear. I am not proposing to move text from part two to part three. I am thinking of dividing part two into two. This would give me three parts of about 2,900 words each. There would still be a division where the time-division is. The last part would be part four instead of part three.
