Anyone into putting on leggings for the winter? I am petite (borderline) and have quite a lot of long tops at home that I can use with them. There seems to be a pretty good selection of colors and their not expensive here:

Does anyone know of any other places to look at?

Well, it half way works. Press under bottoms on leggings. (They're actually tights.)
Since T-shirts aways go down low on me, often below my crotch, (guess I have long legs and neck) I may just go ahead and change my ways since I'm probably built to wear that kind of stuff..

I've not had actual leggings before, but I wear tights frequently, both for pleasure and for warmth, in the winter.
Strangely, it's the only form of cross-dressing I do. I became facinated with tights at age 9 or so, wore them for a play and totally fell in love with them. Used them ever since.
I find them to be a very 'eunuch-minded' thing to wear, in so far as they are not necessarily feminine (guys wear tights for many purposes these days), but not masculine either; they let me sort of hover somewhere in between.

This may seem totally irrelevant, but I just have to share this helpful hint with anyone who cares to read it.
If you want to comfortably and cheaply stay warmer, I have found that one minor little addition to your wardrobe makes a BIG difference for me. I stumbled upon this one day, when I wanted my so called "over the calf" sox to actually STAY up on my calf. I had quite a few socks that were worn through, so I cut the feet off the old pairs and would pull them on over a new pair, but since the feet were cut out I could pull them higher OVER my calf and use them to help hold the too short socks up on my leg.... I looks sort of like "leg warmers," but this is from just below the knee only, not as long as a regular leg warmer. I was AMAZED at how much warmer I was, just from this little bit of extra sock above the regular sock. It is a good use for old worn through socks, and it really does seem to help keep me warm on cold days.

I have found it is a surprising issue on how to sleep comfortably at 13 or 14,000 feet. Put on too little and my teeth chatter all night. Put on too many blankets and when my body warms up under the blankets I start sweating and end up with crotch rot just like in the jungle. The Goldilocks solution is to fold a blanket in half and have it over my legs. Put two or three blankets (experiment) on top covering the entire body. Then I am reasonably comfortable against the cold while not sweating. (Nevermind the oxygen deficienty). Bottomline, a bit more over the legs helps as Deaconblue suggests.

I've worn out more tights/leggings than many girls my age ever will. It's been two years since I've stopped dancing, I still wear them, I mean they are comfortable. I feel natural in them.
If you are looking for what others may say are the best tights/leggins for your dollars, ones that will fit you like your skin, not sagg, and move with you with out binding in odd places. A pair that will leave your leg muscles feeling great after a long day or a short work out. Then you are looking for a pair of M stevens mens tights.

if you are like me and have long legs 34" inseems or longer most women's tights will not fit you right, but Bodywrappers make a pair for those with longer legs who want to wear female tights, NY dancewear also carries those.
I hope that helps
stay away from Capezio tights.

Wow. I like that place (Ny dance wear). They don't seem to have many different colors on the tights though but they do have great costumes. Prices on the tights seem a little more expensive but then again they have to be built for dancing requirements. I usually prefer to wear cotten but when it gets really cold and/or wet COTTEN IS THE WORST THING TO WEAR!!! I have often worn simple nylon on cold camping trips underneath wool and then duck weave. Colors can also be had for cheap at the grocery store. It's just that you're never quite certain at exactly what you'll end up with in the end though.
