I just started generic Androcur last night and have had an odd thing happen that I don't see mentioned anywhere and wondering if anyone else has experienced it.

If you have ever donated plasma this would be helpful to understand. The best way I can describe it is a toned down version of what it feels like when they put the room temperature saline salution in at the end. The feeling you get from the cool saline going through your blood stream.

Shortly after every time I've taken it I get that same sensation. Especially in the upper legs and somewhat in the arms.

I tend to feel a little hot normally compared to other people so was worried about the hot flash issue but this seems to be a little of just the opposite. I was pretty surprised to feel something that soon after taking it. Taken 3 times now and got the same sensation at about the same time after taking it each time. Wasn't immediate, like half hour or hour afterwards, I forget now as I'm typing this wasn't really timing it.

That does not seem normal effect. However your mind could be causing the feeling you are having. The thought of taking the medicine can play tricks on the body. You are looking for any kind of change. That type of excitement is some what common. Often when a person has waited for a long time to take the medicine. The trill of starting can cause all kinds of effects. Most are just mental.

May I ask what dose are you taking?
