Usually, when a child is born with ambiguous genitalia, the trend is to closely examine it and start "fixing" it as soon as possible. Usually this fix tends to go in the gender assignment of female. While the Doctors' hearts may be in the right place, I really can't say that I agree with it. I think the child should be left alone until said child is old enough to decide for itself. Pink or blue? Use gray. Dolls or toy trucks? Provide both. Oh well.....

At least we're all in agreement here that if anything should happen to any of the boys, as far as genital injury, the decision is up to THEM on what to do about it.

Still, it's a good argueable topic.:p

Reading this thread made me remember a convosation i had with a friend of mine that is intersex. He felt that he was lucky because his parents fought to keep his genitalia male even thought the doctors wanted to do the opposite.

Although he is quite comfortable with his genitalia as they are he does has a female side to his personality that once you get to know him does show through he has been in contact with other intersex people from all over the world who have been reassigned and they do not feel deep down that is what was right for them. I am all for leaving the decision to the person it applies to to make the decision when they are ready and have all the facts to confront such a life changing procedure.

Everyone, but everyone has a male and a female side to their personality. It is all a matter of how much and in what proportions.

Gay, Str8 or bi, it matters little. We all decide what we are comfortable with. Now, intersexed people have a no choice as to how they end up physically.

Either they have ambiguios genitalia, or somebody is trying to "make them" male or female.

Why the hell doesn't humanity just leave them alone? It is hard enough for them to figure it out without some well-intentioned medicine man trying to second-guess nature or the will of God.

Respect for humanity regardless of sex is what I am implying. I love nothing more than the site of a beautiful woman, but I do not advocate surgically sculpting them.

One aspect of the Intersex issue is choice. On the other hand most people don't have much choice on their body's sexual characteristics. I think the main issue is actually the poor results of the "fix". Most of them end up castrated, even if they originally had testicles and so have to be on hormones all their life. Furthermore, they often lose the sensitive part of their genitalia, even if they orginally had a clit/penis type structure.

In the absence of good results, obviously the choice should be left to the intersex person who is going to lose something.

My first slave was an intersexual - bigender - He was a remarkable man. I bid on him at a fund raiser "buy a slave for a weekend" thing at one of the leather bars. They were all in briefs and "T" shirts----then they wet them down. All showed througn their jockey shorts except the kid I was interested in but his body was by God himself. Built like the proverbial outdoor convience booth made of brick!

Friends heard me bid on him and rushed to tell me that he had had a sexual reassignment and now had a slot where a tab should be. Their news flash had the opposite effect than my friends though it would. I just bid higher. I bought and paid for him and we were never apart again until he died of the gay plague he had contracted before we met.

We had been together a little over a year and he came to me in tears because he wanted to be truthful with me in all things. He had to tell me the truth that he was not a sexual reassignmnet but had been born intersexed. His parents, at the stupid doctor's advice, had him surgically made a female shortly after birth.

He grew up knowing he was male. It came time for him to start hormone therapy and he found a sympathetic doctor who gave him the male hormones rather than the female. He grew into manhood with a perfect male body except he had a vagina. Being the pervert that I am, I loved it and him! We were the perfect equivalent of yin and yang as Master/slave.

His news was not that much of a shocker to me---after all if you love someone enough something like that isn't going to cause you to stop loving them---in some ways, it made me love him more and better understand what he had gone through growing up.

It was not easy for him--there are no more cruel people than school kids in secondary school. Their own hormones are running rampant causing anger and frustration with little or no room for compassion for anyone different. He had gone though hell but had turned out remarkably sound of mind, body and spirit.

I have several others for friends that are very well adjusted but fortunately for them their parents were educated and informed themselves on the subject before making their decision. They decided to wait until they were old enough to understand and choose for themself. One chose to be female and the other dec ided to remain as he/she was without assignment. Both are wonderful, loving people.

My slave, Zane, was every bit as much a man as any man could be. He thought like a man and acted like a man. He impressed upon me the lesson that it's not what you have between your legs that makes you a man, it's what you have between your ears. I loved him , still do.........

It makes me mad when everyone wants to play God. It should be the right of the person that is born to decide what sex they want to be. I have heard story after story of people who were made a girl, and they look like a boy, and the other way to. I would hope people will learn from past mistakes, and let the child decide when they are older. It is never easy being different, but really are we all not different.
