Just wondering if anyone knows how long it should take for the lupron to lower my T to castrate level? So far at this point I have noted the return of nocturnal erections. I have read that lupron initially would cause the testosterone levels to spike first before it goes down. Just looking for some insight. I havent had nocturnal erections in well over a year and I think because of that they are very painful and continuously wake me up. Just looking for a end.

At 1 month after getting my first injection of depot my testosterone level came back at 24nog so I am definitely at castrate level and actually lower than the 54ng that I was able to get to on 200mg of androcur per day. I thought of late things where different as when I was at 54ng I could still get a erection. I have noted that now at 24 I can not get completely hard. That is fine by me and my wife also as I take care of her needs in other ways when the need does arise.

For me lupron does seem like the way to go as long as insurance will continue to pay for it. Otherwise it would be way to expensive for me and most others
