Osteoporosis question.

Yoli here.

My Asian ladyboy friend Treasure is due to arrive here later today and there's something I might need to chat with "her" about.

I gather that she has not done any HRT OR addressed the threat of osteoporosis since she was castrated in her teens so it's been perhaps five years without any supplements, or so I suspect.

What is the risk factor for osteoporosis in someone castrated at so young an age and who has not been on any sort of preventive regimen since?

Should I tactfully enquire to confirm or allay my suspicions and if I'm correct in my current assumption should I press her to be examined (at my expense) and begin taking the needed supplements? (Again, at my expense.)

I'm certain she won't want to ingest anything that will cause the growth of facial or body hair (she never had to shave even before castration,) alter the very feminine pattern of her pubic hair, or cause her tiny peepee to grow but her health is my paramount concern.

Thanks for any expert advice.

Osteoporosis can happen at a young age. She should have a bone density scan done. Of course, lacking T isnt the only thing to think about - use of estrogen in lieu of testosterone would be preventative.

There are drugs that can help treat but not prevent osteoporosis. I am one of the unlucky ones that did get osteoporosis a short time after my hormones were reduced. Yes get the bone scan done. You need to know what condition the bones are now. More easy to treat when in the early stages.

Kristoff,

Thanks so much for the prompt response.

I seem to recall that Treasure mentioned she'd used Estrogen at one point not long, or even before, her widdle boy-pellets went bye-bye. That, coupled with castration, would account for the natural and implant-free (THANK ZEUS!) bewbs as well as the totally feminine hips, tummy, hiney, etc.

I'm not at all aware of any current regimen involving Estrogen but will ask, tactfully, and talk her into an all-expense-paid bone scan.

One thing, among others, that has amazed-impressed-delighted me is her drop-of-a-hat willingness to engage in fun and games, sex-wise. Could that be a result of an Estrogen regimen? I pretty much assumed that someone like her would have virtually Zero libido and only engage in sexual play to please a partner or fulfill an expected role.

While it takes her a while and a lot of loving assistance (See: "Doctor Yoli's Special Tricks", Vol. 1, Chapters 1 through 15.)to achieve orgasm she demands it each time we play and I'm wondering if that too is related to hormone use. It's true that she produces no more semen than that sufficient to "lick" very small postage stamp but she does manage that. Also, she is occasionally multi-orgasmic (what a happy coincidence!) That too, one supposes, indicates at least some intake of some substance, right?

Again, thanks for your assistance and I look forward to hearing from you and others "in the know" 'bout such stuff.

As ever,

Yoli

Clothes and Sun Block Help Create Osteoporosis too.

Witness the golly-gee-whiz articles about low Vitamin D levels.

Of course this is also helped by the avoidence of Animal Fats & Butter.

I read the Vikings use to slurp Cod Liver Oil and ended up keeping their

Vitamin D levels maintained in that manner. So I bought some Norwegian Cod Liver Oil, Free of this and that, and take an out of the bottle slurp to gulp a few times a month. Gotta wash it down with lots of water for taste reasons.

Likewise, take an occasional multi-vitamin with 400 IU of Vit D.

I trust in my high dietary intake of animal fats as whole milk, ice cream, butter & cheeses to also maintain my levels.

Apparently, Vitamin D ain't just about calcium no more. Implicated with immunity and auto immune disease such as Multiple Sclerosis.

Calcium is likewise best covered by diet.

Vegetarian diets, work against calcium absorption via poor calcium sources and fiber block calcium and similar mineral assimilation.

Fluoride!

I drink Sparklett's Fluoridated Water, aka Alhambra and encourage Fluoride supplements along with other measures when a neighbor is treating their O'porosis.

Exercise is also a consideration. I don't do this one. But, I think about it in the hot tub. 🙄 The tension on the bones of muscles pulling helps maintain bone strength.

All the above should be considered as my personal decisions and beliefs because one can always find articles to support one's beliefs. Especially in the health sciences.

Fortunately bone loss can be reversed....to varying degrees.

Just type in "reverse bone loss" in your internet browser search engine.

I was chemicall castrated for nearly 3 years before I was surgically castrated. I didn't take anything for osteoporosis for the duration of my chemical castration except a normal multi-vitamin daily. I had a bone density test done shortly after my castration and I did have the mildest of osteopina on either my spine or hip. I can't remembar which and it was only one not both. Anyway, my doctor said I should either take testosterone, estrogen or calcium to ward it off. I take a very low dose of T now and 1400mg of calcium with vitamin D. I'm not due for another test for 6-7 months but suspect it should be better then

Maybe those "phytoestrogens" that you can find at the health food store may be the best thing for her plus calcium and maybe some vitamin D if she's not taking multivitamins. The advise that I got when I was younger (since I was never quite fully male) from a an old lady herbalist healer was "you absolutely MUST eat plenty of quelites (veggies) all of the days of your life more so than what anybody around you that you know eats. This is because you are different and special but you're metabolism simply does not have what the others have. The others can get by without eating much of it but you are the one that must have the most greens than anybody." Anyway I've tried to follow that advise most of the time throuout my life and the more I've looked into nutrients and hormones (since I too have been hormone deficient all of my life) the more that it turns out to have been very good advice afterall. All you need is a little semi-sweet corn, onions, butter, and dark green leafy vegetables which are loaded with minerals and vitamins. (Pigweed non-sprayed of course, Chinese spinach, wild spinach are tops and come from the genus Amaranthus.)

I most vehemently deny the presence of Pigweed or any other unwelcome plant within the confines of the stone walls surrounding our lil' slice of Heaven!

Should ever there be an outbreak thereof that is not contained and obliterated within 8 hours of discovery of even the tiniest tendril or shoot the well-paid lawn mob will find themselves sans testicles!

Ash(leigh), on the other hand, DOES wander outside the fortress when Dandelions are in season. She does nice culinary things with those and other wild plants; Nopalitos (young cactus pads), Prickly Pear fruit, and other of Nature's Bounty. We also have a large patch of Dewberries (Blackberry wannabes) nearby and when in season, Pie, Cobbler, and such are on the menu.

BTW, for you misguided geometricians in the crowd....Pi(e)R ROUND! COBBLER R (You can see it coming.)...SQUARE!.:D

Hey! Looky! Yoli highjacked her own thread!🍑👋
