Castration in Australia

Post by micdavo12 (imported) »

After viewing this archive extensively this weekend, I decided that I very definitely wanted to be castrated, but to still retain the ability to have sex.

I went to see my GP today and spun him a story about ongoing problems from a vasectomy 11 years ago. I told him the truth in that I had developed an infection in the incision, which took about 6 weeks to heal. Now this is where I digressed by telling him that I had intermittent testicular pain ever since, which had now become virtually constant.

I also told him, that a friend had also been vasectomised in the same hospital in Cape Town at around the same time and had similar experiences with infection and testicular pain. The doc then jumped in and said that there were two possible treatments I.E. opening the scrotum up or castration.

I told him that My imaginary friend had followed the opening up procedure 3 times, before deciding to go with the castration option. I told the docter that I had called my friend over the weekend and discussed the options with him and that he had recommended immediate castration as an option. The doc agreed that this would be the best option and gave me a referral to a urologist. I mentioned the fact that I had heard that doctors weren't too keen on performing castrations, to which he replied that he did not think that there would be a problem with getting the urologist to perform the castration for me, so here's hoping.

I called the urologist's office and when I told the receptionist it was due to testicular pain, she gave me an immediate appointment for tomorrow morning at 8.30, so here's hoping that I will very soon be without my balls, I really want this.

The doc had one comment to make and that was, " You do realize that if you have this done, there is no going back." I told the doc that all I wanted was to have my balls gone, to relieve the so called pain.

Well it is off to the doc in the morning and hopefully he will be prepared to do the surgery for me. I also intend to ask him to remove my scrotum at the same time.

Will keep the archive up to date as to my progress.:D

I see that you are not a young guy and should know all the effects of castration. Knowing the effects and living the effects are two very different things. It would be very wise to try chemical castration drugs for a few months first. Many people find that they can not handle the effects of castration.

Castration is a major change in life. You do not want to make a choice that can have a very negative effects on the rest of your life.

Thanks for that, I do appreciate your input, but I have done my research and my mind is made up, so if the doc agrees to castrate me tomorrow, then I will get it done as soon as I can get it scheduled I really do want this and am prepared to take whatever is thrown at me. Ironically I did speak to someone this evening who had recently been castrated recently as a result of a botched vasectomy, just like I am pretending to have had and he has nothing but good to report, he is on testosterone supplements and is very happy with the results. I got to speak with this guy through a female friend that I discussed my intentions with this evening, she is a very good friend of his wife, who apparently also has no complaints at all either.

So no chemicals, but if the doc agrees, straight to the cut.

It seems like your main reason for wanting castration is lowering sex drive. But you want to stay on testosterone. Why not instead just take a testosteone blocker, giving you the same level of sex drive?

Guys, thanks for your input on this. One question though, from what I have read about testosterone blockers, they block it totally, so you have no sex drive at all and this is definitely not what I want, as I still want to have some sex drive, just minimized.

Anyway, we will see what the doc says this morning. If he is prepared to do the castration for me, I will go ahead and just get it done. I have researched the matter pretty thoroughly and read many experiences here on the forum and I am happy with my decision to be surgically castrated right away.

I really do hope the doc will agree to do it for me and the sooner the better.

If castrations are so good. Why is it that such a high number of guys end up taking hormones? I have personal meet many eunuch's. Think close to half are on hormones?

There is also the fact that you stand a good chance of getting Osteoporosis. Very common among eunuch's that do not take hormones. I am one of them. I have meet others with the disease. One got it when he was in his 20's.

You would be wise to just try a castration drug to see how your body reacts. You can also adjust the amount of drug to select the amount of reduced sex to some degree.

You would also be wise to not make up stories, especially ones that you tell a physician.

A urologist has techniques of inspecting the testicles, blood tests, urine tests, etc. and once the results are in start asking pointed questions about the pain, where it is, intensity, testing for it's location. If you really have testicle pain, as I do, your test results and your answers to questions will be genuine. Doctors can tell. Once a doctor determines you are not being honest, the word gets around, and when you have a real problem they may not be quick to believe you. Think this through.

Reminds me of the guy who banded his balls, got drunk, and passed out. When he woke up he went to the ER and told the doctor that his ex-girlfriend did it to him. Of course, in his case, his balls were dead, but the doctor was suspicious because the man wouldn't let him call the police, didn't want to press charges. But the doctor was a doctor and not a police officer, so he let it go. The man ended up fully castrated, but you've got to be careful with stories, lying can get you in a lot of trouble!

Well a follow up on my visit to the doc today. He had a look and has sent me for an ultrasound and prescribed some high potency painkillers.

I have to go back in 2 weeks and he will then assess. He didn't seem too phased with the idea of performing a castration on me, just wanted to be sure that I explored some other avenues. So, I think if I go back in 2 weeks as instructed and claim no relief, he will then go ahead and do the surgery for me. :D

Ok just a bit more.

Thanks to those of you who have counseled caution and a chemical try beforehand, I appreciate your input, but my interest in castration goes back more than 10 years and in that time, I have read extensively on the subject and the possible ramifications of such a decision.

I am well aware of all the potential drawbacks to castration, as well as all the many benefits and I have thought long and hard about my decision, something that I probably didn't make clear in my initial post. I have read the posts here off and on for the last several years, though I only registered the other day. I find all the posts informative, supportive and friendly. This weekend I finally made my decision to go ahead and be castrated. I am definite that this is what I want and will do what I need to in order to achieve my goal. I am not interested in any form of castration other than surgical performed by a qualified medical professional.

It is my intention to have both my testicles and my scrotum removed at the same time to get the process over and done in as short a time as possible. One bit of information I would appreciate though is from other guys who have had both their testicles and scrotum removed at the same time and this is the average healing time after the procedure as the level of discomfort that they experienced post surgery. Bear in mind that I have a high pain tolerance and heal extremely fast. When I had my vasectomy 11 years ago, I was working night shift. I rode my motorcycle to the hospital after work, had the vasectomy under local and then rode home and was at work as normal the next night.
