Hi not sure if this where I should post this if it not please mods move it to where it should be. I have been on treatment for over 2 years now I take estradiol 4mg a day casodex 100mg a day and spironolact 100mg a day the treatment is to change my body to look like a women. how ever I have not had much luck in my change my breast went from a small a cup to a small

b cup size my hips did get bigger and look more like a womans hips. even after all the time I have been on treatment I still can get a hard on at anytime I want one, what I would like to know from the people here who have had the castration done is did your breast grow and did your body turn from male to more like a female body? I have my doctors ok to have the castration done and a doctor who will do it but dont have the money at this time. If you know of a better male hormone blocker then the casodex please let me know the name of it I was told the casodex is one of best. Thank you for any help or input.

Just looking in the Lippincott's Nursing Drug Guide, Casodex is listed in the less commonly used drugs but of particular note it says to administer this only with LH-RH analogue. Maybe you're still able to function sexually is because you're missing this part. I have been castrated and my body really hasn't change much but I have been able to lose some weight. But then, I do take a very low dose of testosterone so that probably isn't useful information for you.
