Hey everyone, I'm researching different medications at the moment. I found a site that sells depot lupron but the price is expensive, $500 for a 3 month injection. I'm now considering depot provera which according to the archives has worked well for others.

My question is, has anyone experience hot flashes on depot provera?

Hot flashes is listed as one of the side effects of Depo Provera but I never got any while I was taking it. Although I wasn't taking it for very long. Off and on for three years.

Hot flashes will happen with any major reduction of male hormones that happen in a short time. That is all part of the changes.

I got hot flashes from Depro. The hot flashes I experienced happened about 14 days after the 1st injection. You are overpaying for the stuff though. Go through www.inhousepharmacy.com

lots cheeper there, lots.

I also had hot and cold flashes on d-p, as well as Androcur. After the first two years they seemed to get milder -- part of the adjustment process.

Just a reminder: There are a lot of diluted and counterfeit drugs out there. If you are not getting results you might want to change suppliers. --FLO--
