I have gotten a little curious lately: Is it a product of "authors freedom" that you writing stories let the healing time out of the story?

probably. The focus tends to be on the eroticsm isn't it?

In fiction, there are no healing times.

Erotic (maybe) but mostly rather silly if you ask me. No one ever bleeds to death or is unhappy when their hormones crash to zero.
