I take Sustanon 250 IM every 10 days, How long will it take for all testosterone to go out of my body if I stop it for a while?

Over a month. I can't give an accurate answer to "all" the testosterone though. I know the longest ester in Sustanon is said to last one month, but there's different definitions of "last". Does it mean half life, etc.

The good news is it will be a gradual decline, which is said to make it easier to come off.

Sustanon is not in my Nursing Drug Guide. Maybe this will help some.

IM cypionate 2-4 weeks same for IM enanthate.

Testosterone in the blood is very short lived. I saw some work with patients who were castrated for prostate cancer and their blood level dropped to castrate level in only 3 hours. But yours has to slowly work its way to get into the blood first.

If memory serves, the half-life of the components range from a few days to about three weeks. So most of it will be gone in a month, probably six weeks before you are down to nothing.

It still takes a while after the free T leaves the system for all the T receptors to loose their T.

I've just missed my scheduled 12-weekly injection of Nebido, and I hope I'll be able to totally quit testosterone therapy. I'm really looking forward to that famous eunuch calm and an end to sexual desire. I tried before, but this time I'm better prepared for the "nasties" like depression, calcium loss and tiredness.

Does anyone know how long Nebido takes to vacate the body?

Nebido is crazy long acting. But I'm still surprised they give shots only every 12 weeks because it's half life is said to be like 4 weeks. I once saw a chart that was a castrated man's testosterone level after a single injection of Cypionate. The 1st two weeks he was in the top of the normal range, the next two weeks he was at the bottom of normal, but I think it took almost 6 weeks for all of it to be gone. So for all the Nebido to be gone, I imagine it would be like 5 months!

Hey Testman, thanks for sharing your knowledge - much appreciated.

I've been on Nebido for about 2 years now and it's definitely been a shot every 12 weeks. Prior to that I was on Sustanon 250 every 2 weeks. My Doctor persuaded me to change from Sustanon to Nebido so I wouldn't need to schedule my life around a fortnightly visit to the health centre.

I tried to quit Nebido last year and deliberately missed the dose scheduled for early December 2008. By end of January 2009 I'm sure I experienced the famous eunuch calm; in fact I went through a tricky time at work, and handling family issues, with a serenity and clarity of mind that surprised me and those that know me!

By mid-February my energy level dropped and I tired very quickly. Rightly or wrongly I blamed the lack of Testosterone so went back on Nebido. On reflection the real cause may have been overwork and the underlying stress of the family issues. Anyway, I'm having another attempt at life without Testosterone.

Out of curiosity, would you say Nebido was as good as Sustanon for increasing sex drive? Sustanon is considered by many to be top dog in that regard.

For me Sustanon made the greater increase in sex drive.
