My friend you need not apoligize for any thing.We all have freedom of speach or we do for a while and as others in here say what they think I do not see why you shouldent.I do understand we are in troubled waters in here as you and I do not go with the flow as to say.Sadly we will soon loose that freedom to say what we think and some of us might wind up in jail for reeding the bible to others yes these days are comming if congress has there way.No you need not apoligize yet or any time my dear friend.

Where is that coming from? Is there some pending legislation congress you can point to or is this something the bible foretells of?

If you believe in the events foretold in the book of Revelations, then someday (post-rapture and post-Antichrist rise), being a Christian and reading the Bible will be high crimes. I don't have the exact verse handy, sorry.

Any apologies accepted on my part, although I'm not upset in the least.

I have come to realize that, that point of view comes from biblical teachers pushing a political agenda, frenzying Christians to not let their counties become like China and others where it is illegal to be Christian. The teaching comes from Rev 6:9 and other snips from The Book Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Jema the bill befor congress at this time is H.R.1913 and it is the beginning of taking away free speach from one people for the benefit of another.Now I DO BELEAVE no one has the right to harm any one and that means Gay people.I have read of gays being killed for there life style.This is WRONG and any one harming these folks needs every bit of the law brought down on them.But my fear is laws like this will stop pasters from reading chapters like Leviticus 18:22.What will stop someone from having a paster arrested in the near future for reading this.Some will say this is about time the government did this but be warned as freedom of speach is taken away form us more will follow.The next freedom we may loose might be the internet I have read where some in congress wants to have a say on what is said on the net.The fact is we will never agree on every thing that is asking to much but we do need to respect each other.Jema I knew you were gay when I met you and I still love you as a friend even as we dissagree on some things.You are still Gods wonderful person that he has made in his likeness.I do pray you will accept him as I have because we are the same in his eyes its all in acceptiance.I bless this archive and the right to express my thoughts the same as others but yes we do need to respect each other also.

H.R.1913 is the hate crimes bill. It is only punishes people who commit violent hate crimes. As much as I dislike having to hear the Westboro Baptist Church shouting verses from Leviticus their speech is not a violent hate crime. It is hateful, but it is protected as free speech by our constitution. Now if the folks from Westboro Baptist cross the street and start beating on us poor gays, lesbians and trans-folk, then they have committed a hate crime, and then they will be prosecuted.

Free speech is protected by the constitution even if it is hateful, but violence is not protected. The line here is very clear. I think perhaps you are looking a little too hard for signs of the end times.

I know Jema and I guess I just want free speach always.Jema I do care about you I hope you understand that and I hate the way this has devided people so much.I will always care about you my friend even though we may dissagree.
