Woman cuts off 'rapist' boyfriend's penis

SAO PAULO - A man in northeastern Brazil has had his penis severed by his girlfriend who accused him of raping her daughter, police say.

Isaias Saturnino, 42, was sleeping at home last Friday when Maria da Silva used a kitchen knife to cut off his penis, police officer Fabio Gaudencio said.

Gaudencio said Silva fled and remains at large.

Saturnino underwent reconstructive surgery and was in a good condition on Monday, but is expected to stay at least two months in hospital for observation.

Gaudencio says Silva's daughter accused Saturnino of raping her starting at age seven. She is teenager now.

Gaudencio said on Monday that Silva is expected to voluntarily turn herself in.

I cannot know for certain that the victim of this cutting was in fact guilty of raping the daughter, but if he is in fact guilty of rape, then I do hope that the cock-chopping Maria is acquitted of any criminal charges.

It is truly too bad, that we read many cases of "cock-chopping" (e.g. Lorena Bobbitt, the "Angelina" woman in Uganda, et al) by women, who just do not seem to understand that cutting the penis is not going to get the effect they are going for. These women need to be taught a little more about male anatomy so that they go for the testicles and not the penis. Oh well, I understand their intentions anyway.

Of course, let us all just tear the social contract and do justice by our own hands... how come nobody thought of this before ?

It's impossible to tell what is really going on from one news story from halfway around the world, but this doesn't quite sound right. The molestation started at age seven and she is now a teenager; that is at a minimum six years, and the mother is still the man's girlfriend and still sleeping with him. I am a bit suspicious that after six or more years of blissfull ignorance she suddenly found out and dashed in for a little cock chopping. In almost all the cases like this the woman was either in a state of denial or ignoring it to keep her man.

Possibly she was unaware of the child sexual assault until some time before the cock-chopping. I know my mom claims ignorance to what my father did to my sisters and I at the time; and, also, if she had the chance she would do something similar. heheh..

I think going for the penis is quite right. Isn't the intention to make them horny for life with no way of relief except to be bum-f**ked just like how they f**ked others? If I got to do whatever I wanted to a rapist, I'd cut his dick off, force him to eat it, and then wish him a looong happy life. Heck you know the manga Death Note? I'd write his name down and then write "penis falls off now, dies of heart attack... 200 years later"

Yeah, I think another article on this case suggested the teenage daughter had just told her about it. You can still question whether she had suspected or lived in denial, but it seemed to be a reaction to new information.

Yeah - let's cut off the penises of all rapists or even suspected rapists. Vigilante justice is the way to go! Yeah - right.

I feel sorry for all parties involved, the daughter, the mother, and the boyfriend. Now they all have to go to court as defendents and/or victims.

I absolute agree with you in that I also feel sorry for all persons involved in this sad tale, really, such a horrible fate for everyone.

As for the vigilante justice, I also agree with you. Vigilante "justice" is more often than not, just some bully wrongly harming or killing someone and then claiming they did it because... (take your pick of "reasons").

On the other hand however... you cannot deny that most countries today have "justice systems" that are in fact nothing more than entertaining circuses, where CLOWNS in robes and wigs pretend they are eminently qualified to mete out "justice" and invaribly just make everything worse for everyone, and they somehow manage to take LOTS of money out of everyone's pocket as they perform their rediculous act.

Consider this, seriously, IF, If you found yourself in a similar situation... You had just found out that a child you loved dearly had been raped by someone... Even though I would STRONGLY urge anyone to use the proper channels and authorities as they seek justice, and to "right the wrongs." I myself doubt I would have such self control. And ultimately, any real justice would be better done OUTSIDE of the legal circus that calls itself the "criminal justice system."

Yet also consider it from the OTHER point of view, what if YOU were accused of raping a child? Would you seriously believe you had any chance of being acquitted if you were in fact innocent? In the U.S. today, and in many other countries I believe, simply being accused of a sex crime, especially if your accuser is a woman, is more than enough for the court to convict you. You would actually be better off confronting the victim's parents directly and presenting your case to them, they might be enraged and acting irrational, but even an enraged parent seems to have more common sense than the average "Court of Law."

As for the people who are actually guilty of violent or cruel crimes, I honestly feel it is actually BETTER for them also to settle the matter out of the "Justice System" (CIRCUS) even if it does mean being on the recieving end of harsh vigilante justice.

Justice systems around the world range from plausable to a complete sham.

But wouldn't it be better to evaluate each and not the whole aggregate lump sum based upon a few bad apples?

As imperfect as even an honest judicial process may be, returning to the lawless gunslinging days of everyone being sheriff, judge, and jury and executioner is uncivilized and representative of a society that I would not want to live in.

Even honest hard working juries make mistakes and convict innocent people.

In the heat of rage, it is much easier to lack all the information, jump to conclusions and make a mistake.

Nothing's perfect. Why even bags of potato chips have broken imperfect chips in them. But we don't stop buying potato chips just because of a few broken ones, or we don't hate the whole bag of chips and all the chips in it just because a few are broken.

We don't smash all the good chips just because of a few broken chips.

Everything in moderation, with understanding, compassion, empathy. Internalizing hate only destroys ourself and doesn't work in creative positive meaningful ways to solve serious and important issues. There IS so much injustice in the world that I have to work at convincing myself of this philosophy/point of view over and over and over again.
