More discrete e-mail reply notifications

Currently, when I receive an e-mail notification that says someone has replied to a message I posted on this board, it says that it comes from "Eunuch Archive".

Could this be made more discrete, e.g. "EU Archive"? This way, if I'm checking my e-mail and someone happens to see the list of names and subjects of my e-mail it won't look weird.

That is a very good suggestion happousai . I'm sure that something like that could be very embarrasing.

I'll talk with Bboy about it. It might be somewhat difficult, but lets see what he says.

Well, even "EU Archives" might give away too much. How many words in English begin with "EU"? Whilst I have no problems with the words "Eunuch Archives" appearing in my e-mail, I can understand why others might. So perhaps we should go all the way and just say "EA".

Paolo, I'd like permission to reprint this in another newsgroup, alt.callahans. If you say "yes", should I just attribute it to "anonymous" or use the name "Paolo" or use some other name of your choosing?

Go right ahead and repost it! Include my email address, too. Not to make light of Happ's post, but I think Talula pretty much nailed that one and I couldn't resist. What's alt.callahans?

:D

Now Andrew,

That still doesn't mean that if you are involved in a toast and you throw your glass at the fireplace (as is required) you don't owe him the 50 cents for the glass. However, I agree that the box was set up for drinkers, but I don't think the piano player will let you out the door without the 50 cents.

Heheh,

Just for clarification.
