It was three years ago today, April 13, 1999, that I obtained the castration that I had always wanted so much. My life has been so much better since that day thanks to Dr. Spector.
I started low dose estrogen five months ago, and I continue to pursue the completion of my facial electrolysis. I hope to accomplish even more in the next few years.
I owe much thanks to the eunuch community. Several years ago I knew that transformation would be very costly and take a long time to finance and accomplish, and my idea was to get the castration before anything else, because I needed to be assured that my body would not masculinize any more, and also because I wanted to be free from the male sex drive right away. Many transsexuals balked at the idea of castration first, and I was told that I had a genital mutilation fantasy. Almost no transsexuals had any information about castration for me, so I turned to the eunuch community. Even though the vast majority of eunuchs were not transgendered at all, they proved themselves to be very helpful. Although my desires differ from those who do not wish to change sex, you have been open-minded and non-judgemental, which are traits I see lacking among many TGs and TSs. While many of my sisters left the eunuch community shortly after attaining castration as they went on to pursue other gender issues, I have continued to remain with this community, because I just don't want to forget and leave you friendly people behind.
So now I look forward to many more years of freedom from testosterone, and to sharing those years with all of you.
