Lying about testicular pain to get anti-androgen

Post by Euniquee (imported) »

I live in Iceland and believe it is quite impossible for me to acquire an anti-androgen without consulting a doctor. I don't think I can just order it online and have it properly delivered to me without my having to prove my necessity for the drug with a prescription. Therefore, I have thought it might be ideal to lie about testicular pain. I've read that the causes of testicular pain are sometimes unable to track, so what do you say? Do you think that lying about it to a doctor might get me an anti-androgen?

If you have any other and perhaps better ideas, please feel free to post them.

PS: I know you who have really had to face testicular pain find this very absurd, but I don't have too many choices so please try to understand my situation.

As one of those people I would ask that you do NOT do this. It wasn't easy getting treatment because the doctors were afraid of treating people who made up things like this to get drugs etc.

Whats wrong with being upfront and talking to a doctor about your real problem? Is it not possible that they maybe able to help you? Perhapes the problem is not even exactly what you think it is? Perhapes its mental? Or is it possible that deep down you might be transexual? or some other condition that has a straightforward treatment.

Lying to doctors is never a good plan.

Absolutely DO NOT LIE to your doctors about anything. When you need their help you need them to believe your every word. Otherwise you will become like the little boy (in the fable) who cried wolf, when there was no wolf. And once there really was a wolf, no one believed him. Lying will adversely affect every facet of your life.

Besides, although it may be something that is done, I never heard of an anti-androgen being prescribed for testicle pain where the cause of the pain had not been diagnosed. (or even if the cause was diagnosed).

Lying, ever, is not a good tactic. Look for other alternatives. Herbal remedies can minimize testosterone to some extent. legal, easily obtainable, and better than nothing.

Well it would just be a white lie, they are causing me 'pain' although not directly 🙄. I don't know if you'd like to call it a problem, it's more of a lifestyle in my eyes. I wish to continue living as a boy for much longer. I'm not interested in having a partner. I'm afraid that if I do not greatly limit the testosterone in my body I might develop some undesired masculine features, whether physical or mental. Seriously, I'm pretty sure the doctor would think I was joking and mention Peter Pan.

I'm not sure if some foods would be enough, but they might help a little until I turn 18 or find a way to acquire an anti-androgen. I read that certain soy products would greatly reduce testosterone by increasing estrogen. Do you know any more? We could make a good list.

Mint tea in larger regular quantities is supposed to work.

Spearmint tea may help treat excess body hair

Last Updated(Beijing Time):2007-02-24 10:28

A few mugs of spearmint tea could help women combat excess facial and body hair, Turkish researchers report.

Women with excess body hair, a condition known as hirsutism, who drank two cups of the herbal tea a day for five days showed significant reductions in their levels of free testosterone, Dr. Mehmet Numan Tamer and colleagues from Suleyman Demirel University in Isparta report.

Typical treatments for hirsutism target excess levels of male hormones, and include oral contraceptives to prevent the production of these hormones or drug treatment to block the body's response to them, Tamer and his team point out in the journal Phytotherapy Research.

The researchers previously noted that drinking peppermint tea seemed to lower the libido in some men, which prompted them to investigate spearmint as an anti-hirsutism treatment. Hirsutism is characterized by excessive hair growth on the face, breasts and belly, and affects about 5 percent of women. It is thought to be related to the body's level of androgens (male hormones).

The researchers had 21 women with hirsutism drink a tea prepared from a heaping teaspoon of dried spearmint leaves twice daily. Twelve of the women had polycystic ovary syndrome, while the rest had hirsutism with no known cause.

After five days, the women's levels of free testosterone (the biologically active form) declined, although their total testosterone level stayed the same. Women's levels of luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, and estrogen rose, while their triglyceride levels dropped significantly.

Women with high male hormone levels may also have high levels of triglycerides, insulin resistance, and obesity, the researchers note.

"Spearmint can be an alternative to antiandrogenic treatment for mild hirsutism. However, further studies are needed for testing the reliability and availability of spearmint as a drug for hirsutism," the researchers conclude.

Seems like it could help :). Keep suggesting!

Maybe you can use my trick. It can be hard to find the right words to consult your doctor.....................

I just printed the EA site and handed it over to him, it did a great job

For very important LEGAL reasons, the Eunuch Archive needs to restrict membership to those who are "adults". Euniquee has been a member for nearly a year, stating when he joined that he was of legal age. (He was specifically asked his age, since he listed his birth year as 1720.) Yet he posts on this thread that he's still not 18 and old enough to be a member here....

We have to protect the Archive for the rest of us.

Well, there you are. Lying about his age. Lying to doctors. The whole dialogue might be one big lie. Too bad. Not a good way to transition into adulthood.
