I saw a good documentary last eve entitled, The Third Sex, about people born intersexed and treatments. It was beautifully done and a rare co-operative effort of the 2 language networks. One seldom sees documentaries where people are interviewed in the 2 official languages without voice-overs, subtitles, etc. One conclusion is the expectation that all intersexed people be surgically made into one of the 2 binary genders. It focused almost entirely on genitals, and I was disappointed in the lask of focus on hormonal treatments. It's good to get this stuff out there.
