Nerves and sensitivity in the rectal canal.

Looking for a bit of medical advice here. Not sure I'm looking in the right arena, but I do know the Archive does have an extraordinarily wide-ranging set of contributors, and I'm hoping someone will have the right expertise & will be able to help me!

I'm writing a story (a long and rather dark one) that involves an abused person being required (by the abuser) to fist him. By way of rebellion/revenge, the abused person manags to insert a safety pin when fisting the abuser, and secures it to the wall of the rectal cavity. Later, of course. the abuser falls ill and the safety pin shows up on an x-ray. But because the abused person has closed it, the medics assume that it's safe and will be passed in the normal way. Of course, it won't!

I've already given away a fair bit of the plot, and I don't want to go further.

BUT ...

Does anyone here know exactly how sensitive are the walls of the rectal cavity? What sort of pain reaction would the abuser have to a safety pin being passed through the wall of his rectum, and attached to it? Near to the 'kink' where it links to the main intestine, I mean?

For the basis of my story I was assuming that there weren't too many nerve endings in that area, and that the abused person would be able to effect his revenge without the abuser being aware (at the time) of what, exactly, was happening inside him.

All advice gratefully received!

I had a rectal examination once and in spite of an anaesthetic enema, the moments the doctor plucked some tissue this was still very sensitive.

Maybe the fister could use Emla cream as lubricant. I must say the thought of that safety pin brought a shudder to my own rectal canal. Can't wait to read the story.

Thanks nomorehotbutt and Eeunuch2001.

The circumstances (in the story) wouldn't allow the poor victim to choose his lubricant, so I'm afraid I can't follow that one up.

Would you care to be a bit more specific, nomorehotbutt? OK, you were anaesthetised for your examination, and I suppose I could substitute (in the story) a bit of alcoholic haze for that. But 'very sensitive' is a long way down the scale from 'shit, you bitch, get your hand out of my ass and cut your fingernails!' Try to imagine you had been in the throes of an exciting sexual experience. Would you have put up with it? Or would you have been exceedingly piddled off with the poor victim and brought the experience to an end there and then? I do try to be realistic in my fiction! Well, except where it involves witchcraft, that is!

(sorry if I've contravened any language protocols here! Obviously I shan't object to being edited!)

Oh, and thanks to another respected EA member for his useful suggestions received via a personal message.

Sorry, I missed your question before. I don't know any name of the anaesthetic, I wasn't interested in it that moment. With very sensitive I wanted to say that I had a clear indication where and how many plucks the doctor was taking.

About your scale..............I cut out one of my testis once without any painkiller, I had it in my hand, couldn't finish the dammed job because of a serious bleeding, needed the hospital. I tried to eliminate my testicles by boiling them from the inside (running boiling water through several injection needles for about 5 minutes) I have two burning marks in my pubes from driving a white glowing piece of steel into the flesh for about 8 mm,

and there is one person I love that much, if he ever needed me to walk into a fire an die for him, I wouldn't hesitate but go, no fair and no regrets

Please tell me, where are you going to scale your story

Thanks for replying again, NMHB.

I actually wrote the story several years ago, and my assumption then was that the victim would get away with his little act of revenge. However the story, as written, involved non-consensual sex and violence enacted on a pre-teen boy, and it ended up with the boy's death. It also had an act of ritual cannibalism.

As an exercise in writing it was good. The story held together well, and on an intellectual level I think it was a good effort. But on re-reading what I had written I was so appalled with it that I deleted it entirely from my computer! It really was a cruel and gruesome tale, and I decided I wanted nothing to do with it anymore.

However, there were elements of the story's plot (including the safety-pin one) that I feel should not be allowed to fall completely into oblivion. I recently decided to try re-writing the story, but with a rather older victim. I may also revise (or leave out completely) the snuff+cannibalism ending. I'd like the eventual story to be fit for publication!

The story's still in its early stages, and as I do my writing very much on a spare time basis there could be one or two Christmases between now and the publication date. But I'll let the Archive know, one way or another, when I feel it's ready!

As we can see again, we are never to old to learn. I am glad that you took your own lesson. If you want to re-write the story, please be very careful with yourself. One day in the future you are going to find out that the difference between reality and fantasy has disappeared and at that moment you cann't change your story anymore. It is a great dream, I can promise you that, please don't destroy it....
