I noticed when I started Spiro, my body temp seems to have been the first to go, I constantly feel cold. Has anybody else experienced this?

May be for low blood pressure.

Don't know for the spiro, but since I went over 200mg/day for the androcur I need at least 29 Celsius in my sleepingroom to feel a little comfortable and the effect of the drugs is going more and more back to zero

Yesterday at the hospital I got a warning about my bloodpresure as it was far to high, so I should see my familydoctor about that

(to my opinion, after what i've doing the last days I should see a doctor if my bloodpresure wasn't to high, stil human you know)

Think it would help to know how long you have been on the drug and the dose. You have not given us much to go on to help with.

I've been on it about 8 days, 1st day was 50mg, then upped to 100 from day 2 on. I used to have a bp of 140/100, I haven't taken any recent measurements on it since starting spiro, perhaps that'll be my next step.

Not currently no.

I don't know for the USA, but here at the Netherlands I was taking that same risk as you are doing. It wasn't that easy to see the family doctor about it, but it feels more save and lucky I got my medicine on priscription, wich for NL means, I don't pay them anymore. It's for the insurance.

Yes. I often feel chills, especially at night. I could suddenly wake up feeling I was freezing. Then after wrapping myself in more blankets for a while, the chills go away just as suddenly, and I would be sweating.

I am taking 100 micrograms per day of ethinylestradiol and 20 mg per day of Paxil, and my body is now at the stage where I consider myself to be chemically castrated. My temperature frequently fluctuates throughout both the day and the night, and I seem to be constantly fiddling around with the heating thermostat within my home. Like others, I am sometimes uncomfortably cold and sometimes uncomfortably hot, but I am learning to be flexible and adaptable as I enjoy my present lifestyle.

I would just like to add that, for some weeks, while adapting to my latest round of hormones and medication, I have been very restless during the nights, and sleepy during the days, and this has interfered with my twenty-four hour body clock and daily routines. I am only now beginning to regain something of my energy, motivation, and former routine.

Has anyone kept a diary of how their hormones are affecting their daily lives?
