I am just winding up the boys as a beautiful mind and paraniod make a lovely couple.

Don't they A-1, you have cirtanly one of the most beautiful and genius minds I have come across.

You know, this IS a fascinating subject. First of all, I am flattered as should all of the rest of you be by Antonia's statement. Thank you, Antonia. I think a lot of you, too.

There is truly a lot of genius floating around here but also the same intelligence seems to be deficient in some areas. For example, even though Antonia thinks of me as intelligent, I could not figure out how to adjust my fonts without the help of Paolo.

I believe that we all have unique capacities. If we cooperate all of a sudden we become appreciative of each person's individual talents. This is why it is always good to work in groups.

With the unique abilities of each individual in a group complementing the abilities of the others in the group it seems the group can accomplish much more thatn the sum of it's parts could do in an individual collective effort.

Well, that is my two bits. Why don't all of you think about this and specific examples and tell me what you think abouth this concept.

On an unrelated subject I sent a private e-mail to Limpone and so far there's been no reply. Do you think he may have gotten called into some sort of active duty with the 9-11 incident and the aftermath?

You're completely right.

That's the reason I always suggest to create diversity in groups.

It's not productive if many poeple all of the same kind gather; they will only practice self-assurance.

Clubs, societys and such are handicapped by design and should right after the start try to, well, create diversity among theire members.

Only chance to get something interesting going. Such like here. *s

BTW: I don't believe in genius. I belive in balance but like so many of us am fascinated by the edge.

A "genius" is simply nearer the edge but therefore far away from the opposing other.

And so are freaks, disabled, and mentaly damaged ones.

Haltlos, I agree with you. Special Interest Groups are good as a "support" tool. We all have problems, and It's good to have common friends to discuss them with. That's really what it's good for. However, we really do need diversity in normal life; or it becomes a bore! I think we all need something different to keep our minds working. --- Sugar ---
