Is it safe to eat the peanuts again? Have they got the salmonella thing under control. My terrapin is geting hungry.

School districts in my area have discovered two and a half tons of peanuts from this firm in their stocks. They have been ordered to destroy the peanuts. No peanuts or products from this outfit are safe. As a consolation this bunch only produced about one percent of the peanuts used in the U.S. Good luck to the terrapin. --FLO--
