I have just wasted two hours replying to a post, only to have my reply fail to be entered.

I wrote a long reply to the thread "Human beings changed the climate". After taking quite some time to edit it, I clicked on the Submit button. Very slowly, the progress bar crept across the space it is supposed to fill until it reached the half-way point.

Then it stopped and would go no further. Suspecting that my post would not be submitted, I searched frantically for some way to save it. Alas, there is no such way, nothing marked "Save" or "File". Finally, I lost my connection to AOL and my long hard-thought reply.

I am too disappointed and discouraged to compose and type that post again, so the Archive will just have to do without my outpouring of wit and wisdom.

When ever you want to make a long post it is best to write it in a word processing program. Then just do a cut and past into the thread. You get the benefit of a spell check as well.

that’s how I do it

that way if the post dose not make it you can resubmit it

spell check is so great I wish they had it when I was in school

The same thing has happened to me, many times. But OH WOE unto the human race! We shall have to face the future without the benefit of your wise words... "What ever will we do? Where ever will we go?" I guess we will just have to make do... still, I would like to have known your opinions on global warming.
