How much would crime drop if such deterrents where adopted

I have heard of a similar story where a mafia boss found about a guy who has been messing with his wife or daughter and had him held down on a table while burning his balls off with a soldering iron. No details on the outcome but probably shot in the head after the punishment if the story is true( word of mouth-not in any press reports). Probably a good object lesson for any other aspirants for the ladies' affections. Don't try this at home!! The story goes that he screamed himself into voiceless silence

Well, not much crime in Saudi Arabia.

Steal: Off with your hand.

Preach Christianity: Off with your head.

Dick around: Off with the woman's head.

In this post's Nigerian story, does the punishment really fit the crime, and should the apparent victim be able to secure her own version of justice:

"Williams, a wealthy landlady, was described by tenants as “wicked.”

Williams claims the teen stole almost $6,000 from her.

The teenager’s hands were reportedly tied behind him while fire was placed under his scrotum and buttocks."

Here I naively thought the EA Archive stories were creative fiction...

As a human, i'd say that she should have gone to the police.

As a guy who likes fire, though, i'd say she probably should have all the fun she wants.

And then post it on the EA of course.
