I absolutely love how you can take an historical event and turn it into a story that has it all! There is eroticism, love, devotion, honor, well, your stories have it all!

You make me wish you had been one of my history professors in college... I think I would have got a lot more out of the subject.

I've been enjoying this one, as well as Tamerlane's Boys. Those 2 just can't keep out of trouble! Good stuff, Pueros; it amazes me how you can keep all that straight.

I was actually a little worried that I had rushed the ending in my wish to clear some decks in order to concentrate on other stories ('Tom Brown' & 'The Brotherhood' will be concluding soon as well). Accordingly, Lysander & Alexias might return in another genital-threatening setting, surrounded by eunuchs, sometime in the future, partly to elaborate events briefly recorded at the end of chapter 12.
